Our process
How a deal works
Every deal follows the same steps. Knowing them upfront removes most of the stress.
Conversation
We talk through the aircraft, your goals and your timing. We agree in writing what we will do and what it will cost.
Marketing or search
For a sale, we prepare the listing and approach buyers. For a purchase, we search the market and shortlist aircraft.
Offer and deposit
A written offer is agreed. Any deposit goes to an independent escrow agent or law firm trust account, never to us.
Inspection
An independent engineer or maintenance organisation inspects the aircraft. The price or terms can be renegotiated against what they find.
Title and tax checks
We check the CAA register and security interests, and confirm the GST treatment before contracts are signed.
Contract and closing
The purchase agreement, bill of sale and payment release are completed together.
Registration or export
The aircraft is registered in the buyer's name, or deregistered and exported with the correct paperwork.
